About

Paul Meagher is the main dude behind Datavore Productions. Paul studied psychology, philosophy and computers (aka cognitive science) for 10 years at St. Mary's University and the University of Saskatchewan. Paul worked in an AI lab and e-commerce development company in Saskatoon before moving back to Nova Scotia and registering Datavore Productions.

Coming from an e-commerce background, Paul was interested in online deaflow systems and jumped at the opportunity in 2002 to work with serial entrepreneur Brian Perry to develop dealflow software for the Canadian Angel Investment industry. Since then the platform has grown to include 30 Angel Investment Network websites seamlessly operating in multiple countries, languages, currencies, and timezones.

Paul has been the driving force behing Datavore Productions for 10 years and has been developing dealflow software for 9 years. Paul has written 10 articles for IBM and 3 articles for O'Reilly Publishing on various programming and math-related topics. He works from his home office in Truro, Nova Scotia and occasionally from a country farm in Mabou Ridge, Cape Breton where he grows grapes, fruit trees, vegetables, and lots of hay. Paul is married and has two children.
